For several years Karolina Witowska has been occupied with graphic design (poster, publishing graphics). In both design and her artistic activity she is interested in community art projects. She works in a local community environment bringing up neighborhood and coexistence issues. She deals with projects on the borderline between installation, design and drawing. She also runs workshops. In her artistic work she uses sketching as a quick and spontaneous record of the situation. In the ‘Sketch better than…(a completed work)’, her graduation paper, she showed the superiority of sketches above a completed work.
